Report: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Won’t Be Available for Preload

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered may not be available to preload, according to a new report. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is bundled with Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition.

While the special edition will be available to preload, players can only download Infinite Warfare ahead of its release, according to Reddit user “worditsbirdText” who contacted Activision support.

It is an unconfirmed report and we hope this isn’t the case. Servers are often hammered at release time and downloading Modern Warfare Remastered while a better part of the community is online may cause issues.

On a related note, Vince Zampella asked Infinity Ward to not mess-up Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare is probably the most loved and played COD game ever.

It is the reason why fans might consider buying the new COD, Infinite Warfare. The gaming industry will always remember it as one of the best shooters. However, once Modern Warfare series was done and Vince Zampella left Infinity Ward it all went downhill for COD.
