Battlefield 1 Will Take Over 40GB Of Space in Your Console

Battlefield 1 is coming to consoles and PC next month and while we don’t know its file size on PC right now, we do have information about its file size on Xbox One.

According to Xbox Store, Battlefield 1 requires 42.7GB of space in your HDD. The game is available to pre-order right now across all platforms but pre-load will begin close to release.

According to EA DICE, EA Origin players can begin preload in mid-October which gives players plenty of time to download the game.

The minimum spec:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
  • Processor (AMD): AMD FX-6350
  • Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K
  • Memory: 8GB RAM
  • Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB
  • Graphics card (Nvidia): Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
  • DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
  • Hard-drive space: 50GB

The recommended spec:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or later
  • Processor (AMD): AMD FX 8350 Wraith
  • Processor (Intel): Intel Core i7 4790 or equivalent
  • Memory: 16GB RAM
  • Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB
  • Graphics card (Nvidia): Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
  • DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
  • Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
  • Available Disk Space: 50GB

EA Access members on Xbox One and PC will have Play First Trial on 13th October, a week before the game launches properly on 21st October.

Battlefield 1 is also coming to PlayStation 4. You can go ahead and pre-order the game from EA Origin, PlayStation Store or Xbox Live Marketplace for $59.99.

Another major title, Titanfall 2, is releasing in the same week so your wallet will feel the stress of it all.
