Gears of War 4 Achievements, Post-Launch Gear Packs Revealed
Since Gears of War 4 is going to be releasing in around three weeks, The Coalition has finally decided to release the Gears of War 4 achievements list, along with showing off a number of gear packs that will be coming out after the game launches, and we’ve got the whole list of achievements.
The achievement list has been censored a bit by The Coalition to keep people from spoiling themselves on the story or a few other moments, but for the most part the full list is available. For some of the general gameplay achievements, we have a revisit to “Zen and the Art of Reloading” (Hitting 25 active reloads), “Triple Play” (Score three kills in one Buzzkill shot), “Drop the Beat!…down” (killing three people with headshots with a Dropshot) and more.
The various campaign Gears of War 4 achievements include all of the requisites: grabbing collectibles, completing the game on multiple difficulties (both singleplayer and co-op) and the requisite “find every COG tag in the game), but there are others like “Look Out! Uh…never mind.” where you drop 25 pods on enemies, or “The Sound of Silence”, where you don’t drop your “inheritance” (whatever that is, I would assume it’s Marcus’s old Lancer gun) the entire game.
The various other Gears of War 4 achievements are all scattered around the other game modes, ranging from the Versus Mode to the Horde Mode, and there are even achievements for your multiplayer progression.
The Coalition ends the post by talking about the Gears of War 4 Gear packs. These packs will be like microtransactions that give you a variety of things such as Bounties, Characters, Weapon Skins, Emblems, and other unique customization items. All of these can be bought either with in-game currency or through real-world money if you want to speed the process up a bit.
