Forza Horizon 3 Wheelspin Glitch That Could Ruin In-game Currency
The release for Forza Horizon 3 is just around the corner, however, those players with Early Access has already started to enjoy the game. But reports are starting to come that a Forza Horizon 3 wheelspin glitch is randomly awarding some players 999,999,999 credits, which happens while players activate a wheelspin.
While the bug is not really a game breaking one, but it does ruins the in-game economy, as those who were affected will be able to purchase far better cars compared to those who don’t have that much in-game currency.
Developer playground games has taken a notice of this Forza Horizon 3 wheelspin glitch and has assured players that this is just a server side issue which should now be fixed. According to Forza community manager Brian Ekberg:
Earlier today, with the rollout of Forza Horizon 3, we discovered an issue where players inadvertently received massive amounts of credits (999,999,999 credits) on certain rolls of the Level Up Tombola. We identified this as a server-side issue and have since corrected it.
While we believe this has only affected a small percentage of users, we have put some corrective measures into place.
He further added that those who faced this issue and purchased cars for over 1 million credits will no longer be available for posting on the Auction House.
For players who were affected by this issue, cars over 1 million credits and purchased within the window that this issue was active will no longer be available for posting on the Auction House. Players will still be able to use those cars as normal (or remove them from their garage altogether). In addition, we will be correcting affected players’ credit balances.
Forza Horizon 3 will launch on September 27, 2016 for PC and Xbox One.
