Resident Evil 7 System Requirements Revealed Months Ahead Of Launch

While Resident Evil 7 is expected to launch early next year, Capcom is yet to announce an official release date for the game. However, Capcom has seen fit to reveal Resident Evil 7 system requirements.

The Steam page for the game has been updated with system requirements for the game. Players will require a modest system to play the game at launch, as the game requires GTX 760 and AMD R7 260x as a minimum requirement and GTX 960 and R9 280x as a recommended. As for the RAM it requires standard 8 GB for both minimum and maximum.

As for the processor the Resident Evil 7 requires fourth gen Core i5- 4460 or AMD FX-6300 as a minimum requirement, and third gen Core i7-3770 as a recommended requirement.

However, Capcom has also stated that Resident Evil 7 is currently in active development and these system requirements could change.

Ever since Sony and Microsoft conformed the Xbox One S and PlayStation 4 Slim will support HDR, many developers are bringing this functionality to their games. Capcom has also announced that Resident Evil 7 will support HDR on Xbox One S.

Resident Evil 7 is a survival horror game in development at Capcom, and the game is expected to launch in January 2017 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 VR and PlayStation 4 PRO.
