NBA 2K17 MyCareer Guide

Our NBA 2K17 MyCareer Guide provides an overview of everything you need to know about playing MyCareer and turning your MyPlayer into a superstar.

NBA 2K17 MyCareer Tips

Want to turn MyPlayer into a superstar? Look no further! We have compiled a few tips and tricks to help you climb ranks as early as possible.

When it comes to creating MyPlayer, there are a lot of things that you need to take into consideration – depending upon your playstyle. These things include Archetypes, Height, Weight, Wingspan, and Badges.

You need to try and find a perfect balance which complements your playstyle and you should be good to go. You can also refer to our MyPlayer Builds Guide where we have done all the hard work for you.

Dual-Player control is something which is widely neglected by a majority of players in NBA 2K17. It is helpful feature which – once mastered properly – can easily win you games.

Moreover, you need to pay special attention to Custom Jumpshots as these can make your life relatively easy or hard – depending on how you go with them. Instead of targeting flashy plays, go with something which is easy to execute, boosts your performance, and help you win more games.

Of course, it all boils down to players and their individual playstyle, but remember that performance is superior to style.

Badges are important in NBA 2K17 and must be acquired as soon as possible! You need to be smart with your attribute upgrades. As mentioned earlier, select something that complements your playstyle. If you are looking to earn all badges in the game, we have a separate guide for it.

Lastly, you need to remember that NBA 2K17 is a team game. Do not be let down if you are not an active part of the game. Keeping the ball in your possession at all times will not do you any good. Pass the ball around, play around your team, and you should be good to go.
