Forza Horizon 3 Graphics Comparison: PC vs Xbox One
Forza Horizon 3 is less then a week away from its worldwide launch, and the hype for the game is ever increasing. Forza Horizon 3 is the second game in the Forza series to release for PC and the first in the Forza Horizon series. As the game is releasing for both PC and Xbox One, it seems fitting to do a Forza Horizon 3 graphics comparison.
A Youtube channel, Candyland, has done a Forza Horizon 3 graphics comparison between PC and Xbox One versions. Now we already know that PC version is always the best looking version of any multi-platform game, but to see how much better the PC version is, we take a detailed look at it in the video.
First thing is the frame rate which is smooth 60 FPS on the PC version while the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 3 is locked at 30 FPS. Well it needs to be noted that developer Playground Games has added motion blur to the Xbox One version of the game to provide a sense of speed, but the game is much smoother at 60 FPS.
Next up is the objects detail in distance, and in this case the PC version takes the lead as the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 3 lacks some details in objects at distance. However, it is hardly anything to compare as you will not notice it until you actually look for it.
As for the shadows, they look more clear and crisp on the PC version of Forza Horizon 3. While the shadow quality of Xbox One version of the game is not bad but the shadows do look blurry compared to PC version.
The reflection quality for both versions looks stunning, however, if we notice is closely, the reflection quality looks and feel more realistic on the PC version.
Forza Horizon 3 is scheduled to launch on September 27, 2016 for PC and Xbox One.
