Hajime Tabata Claims Final Fantasy XV Map Is Incomparable To Other Games
Final Fantasy XV has been in development for almost 10 years and this coming November gamers will finally get to play it, that is of course they don’t delay it again. Game Director, Hajime Tabata, has been revealing new details about the game, and this time he has opened about Final Fantasy XV map and how it not comparable to any other game’s map.
Speaking with Hardcore Gamer, Hajime Tabata, said that Final Fantasy XV map is very hard to compare to other games as it will take over 100 of hours to complete side quests along with the main missions. The scale of the game is indeed large but it is not simple to compare with others.
It’s not going to be a direct answer, unfortunately, because it’s hard to compare, that said, we are developing and creating a game in which you travel or journey by car, so a certain degree of — we did need to create it in a larger scale or a big scale. A certain level of scale was needed in order to create a game that surrounded travel by car.
He further added that even if they did compare it with other games, then the Final Fantasy XV map is incomparable and is something new.
So even compared to other games, we can definitely say that it’s something that’s incomparable, something new, something that you’ve never experienced before in relation to some of the other games that are already out on the market.
Recently, Tabata revealed that Final Fantasy XV will tell the story of Noctis over the span of ten years, and players will see Noctis grow from a teenager to an adult. According to him, the whole point of change in Noctis’ appearance is that players would feel that time has passed and these are living and breathing characters.
Final Fantasy XV is scheduled to release on November 29, 2016 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
