NieR: Automata Has an Auto-Mode to Let the AI Fight Your Battles
There is an Auto-Mode feature in the upcoming NieR: Automata which lets players sit back and let the AI complete battles for them.
The game will give players the freedom to switch between Auto-Mode and normal mode any time during the game, but it is restricted to Easy Difficulty which makes sense.
NieR: Automata Auto-Mode Battles
When turned on, the Auto-Mode will allow AI to attack and defend on its own without needing any external assistance. Players, however, must upgrade their weapons/gadgets constantly to aid the AI in some way.
In addition to this, players will also have the freedom to designate a handful of commands and take control of the rest of the things. For instance, you can set dodging to AI and perform all the attacks yourself. This is a neat little feature which will definitely help casual players out there, but those who want to experience the game like the developers intended, this is not something for you.
