We have seen an increasing trend of video game remaster in the past few years, but the question is – are they justified? It obviously depends upon the remaster one takes into account.

Video Game Remasters – The Good, Bad, and Ugly

For instance, Halo: The Master Chief Collection which includes 1080p and 60FPS versions of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4 – including multiplayer – for $59.99 is totally worth it.

On the other hand, if we talk about The Last of Us Remaster, the game already looked pretty on Playstation 3 and did not require a remaster – Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is more justified.
