WoW Legion Players Discover A Hidden World Boss In Broken Isles
World of Warcraft Legion launched only a week ago but players not only managed to hit the level cap within mere hours but have also been hard at work discovering all the secrets the game has to offer. One such secret which the WoW community discovered is a hidden World Boss, Kosumoth.
What’s more interesting about this hidden World Boss as players didn’t actually know about him and stumbled upon it by accident while looking for a mount, Long-Forgotten Hippogryph, which was datamined back in patch 2.3 (The Burning Crusade) days but wasn’t actually available until now.
Since it is a world boss, not only does it need a lot of people to kill but also to actually summon since the process involved requires travelling throughout the Broken Isles so it is best to have as many people as possible.
The new zones introduced in Legion are apparently filled with hidden caves, very well hidden to be precise. These caves contain dark orbs, Hungering Orbs, in them which the players need to interact with in a certain order.
One of these orbs is near Drak’thul, the hermit orc on Broken Shore. Completing an easter egg with Drak’thul grants players the ability to interact with all these orbs, which can be located through a makeshift map, with pebbles and orbs, on a table next to the orc.
The full process in detail can be found here on Reddit as well as a map marking the location of the caves where the orbs are located.
Despite being the sixth expansion to World of Warcraft, Legion has undoubtedly breathed new life into the game and the concurrent player numbers are pretty amazing according to Blizzard.
The game is set to receive its first post-expansion patch, Return to Karazhan, soon. This Patch 7.1 will add a new Mythic Dungeon, Suramar Quests and new world content.
