The announcement will be made at PlayStation Meeting alongside gameplay footage of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in 4K. There are contradicting reports regarding its frame rate so we won’t be mentioning it for the time being and will wait for possible official showing later today.

Keep in mind that Sony has not confirmed any of this so take it with a grain of salt.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the best looking video game released this console generation. One can only wonder what it would be like if it comes out in 4K.

PlayStation Meeting is shaping up to be an exciting event. Just last night we reported something called PlayStation 4: Forever Edition. It is able to output 4K and is an upgradeable machine. You can increase RAM, HDD storage and GPU of PlayStation 4: Forever Edition.

Such a machine sort of kills the purpose behind a console but evolution can not be stopped. Consoles are heading towards a more custom-PC like design, following in the footsteps of Steam Machines. Where Steam Machines failed, consoles may succeed.

Rumor patrol is out of control ahead of PlayStation Meeting and we can not be sure how much of the aforementioned information will come to pass.

The event will be live in around 8 hours so check with us for all things PlayStation.
