Batman: Return to Arkham Releases on October 20
Batman: Return to Arkham is releasing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 20. The pack features both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City with updated graphics.
Batman Arkham series is one of the best of all time and it brought Batman to the limelight in the gaming industry. Releasing these games for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will allow current-gen players to once again experience Batman’s journey.
Pre orders for Batman: Return to Arkham are live on Amazon, GameStop and other retailers. The collection won’t make it to PC which is a disappointment.
Batman: Return to Arkham was originally suppose to release in July but was delayed after heavy criticism over its visuals. In many sections of the game, graphics were worse compared to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. Admittedly, there is more color and vibrancy to the overall quality of graphics. But you have to ask devs what were they smoking while remastering the character models?
Batman: Return to Arkham should be fixed by now so we hope to see a true remaster.
On a related note, PC users will be happy to know that Batman: Arkham Knight is now in a playable shape. Devs have finally managed to fix the game so those still waiting to play the game, can now enjoy the latest Batman game.
WB is also working on a VR Batman game for PlayStation VR so keep an eye on that as well.
