World of Warcraft: Legion Lag Getting Out of Hand, Here Are Some Workarounds
World of Warcraft: Legion lag is causing a lot of headaches among the community. Blizzard has assured the community that they working to fix the problem but so far no major improvements have been made.
The root of the problem seems to be the outdated graphics settings of World of Warcraft. Even if you have a high end GPU you will have problems running the game at a decent frame rate.
Thankfully, there are some workarounds you can try to improve your situation. For instance, you can try lowering your graphics settings. You can also try turning down your anti-aliasing and reducing draw distance.
Shadow Quality must also be adjusted.
You should also consider disabling all addons and set render Scale to 100%. Now try turning off Vsync and Triple Buffering which should help.
Here are other things you can try.
- Prioritize the game over other processes
- Game Setting Reset
- Use a Lag Reducer
- Get a faster internet connection (2MB is minimum but 4MB is the sweet spot).
Blizzard will soon release an update that should permanently fix World of Warcraft: Legion. Do give these workarounds a try and let us know if they help you out.
