Past couple of months have been full of rumors regarding Nintendo NX, and it seems that the rumor wagon is not going to stop anytime soon.
Recently we reported that Nintendo NX is a portable, handheld console with detachable controllers, now a new rumor regarding the detachable NX controllers has emerged.
According to Let’s Play Games, the detachable NX controllers will also be used as motion control and also as an advance form of force feedback. The site also claims that the detachable NX controllers are designed to phase out the Wii U remote, and also for certain games old Wii U remote can be used with Nintendo NX.
According to Let’s Play Games, the rumor comes from their trusted source, and also claims that these rumors have been verified by two different individuals.
According to the site, one of its sources describes the controller as very similar to VIVE controller.
…very similar to the Vive controller, in that it alters intensity, pulsing patterns and duration of vibration to mimic the sensation of a range of different movement types. It’s not just one vibration for all situations, there’s a notable difference between the hard abrupt feedback of a sword clash or the softer, longer thud of something like hitting a tennis ball.
The site also suggests that Just Dance 2017 will support will support detachable NX controllers and Wii remotes for its multiplayer. Given that Ubisoft has announced the game to be a launch title for Nintendo NX, so it makes sense the game will use these controllers.
