Fallout 4 Vault-Tec Workshop Tips

Bethesda has announced that Fallout 4 updated Vault-Tec DLC is now available for all platform. While the PC and Xbox One versions of the game will update automatically, the PlayStation 4 version will take some doing to get it updated.

For those who play Fallout 4 on PlayStation 4, first make sure the game is not running. Once that is done, go to the “Related Items” which is found below the Fallout 4 icon on the dashboard. Now select “My Add-Ons” and then select the download arrow next to Vault-Tec Workshop.

All you have to do now is wait for the download to complete and installation of the updated Vaul-Tec DLC before starting Fallout 4 again.

However, Bethesda has recommended if the above steps does not work for you, then just delete Fallout 4 and its add-ons and re-install them. By doing this the update will add missing textures, fix NPC-related bugs, and correct audio issues.

In other news, while PC and Xbox One users are enjoying Fallout 4 mod support, PlayStation 4 users are still waiting for the mod support to release on their platform. The mod support for PlayStation 4 was released on the console but due to some technical issues, and the most prominent one was the size limit of 900 MB, the mod support was pulled back.

However, from time to time Bethesda updates on the progress of the situation. Recently, Bethesda’s Vice President of PR and marketing, Pete Hines, was asked about the release date for Fallout 4 PS4 mod support.

According to Hines, the mod support is still under evaluation and no release date can be promised until the process is done.

Also a logo for Fallout New Orleans has been trademarked in the EUIPO, and many are speculating that Fallout game by Obsidian may be in development.

Fallout 4 is an open world post apocalyptic RPG for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
