Pokemon Sun and Moon Pyukumuku Optional Quest
As noted by Siliconera; Pyukumukus are considered unappealing creatures to tourists because of their appearance and lifestyle. Due to this fact, players can opt to chuck them into the ocean in order to earn some easy money.
However, once a Pyukumuku has found a place it likes, it will not move from it and will always find its way back no matter how far into the ocean it is thrown. Moreover, even if there is no food in the area, a Pyukumuku will not move from the area, but prefer to starve.
This eventually gave birth to an Alola tradition – tossing Pyukumuku into the ocean. The video attached above shows the player tossing some of the Sea Cucumber Pokemon into the sea and earn as much as 20,000 Pokedollars.
