New Playstation Flash Sale; Dragon Age Inquisition, Witcher 3 and More
Sony is having a small Playstation flash sale, allowing people to pick up a number of new, well-reviewed games for a variety of cheap prices. So, if you’re looking for some mindless fun, a critically acclaimed masterpiece, or just something to fill time until the fall release schedule begins, you should take a look now.
If you’re looking for critically acclaimed games, the Playstation flash sale has Bastion (down to $3.74 from $14.99), Dragon Age: Inquisition ($7.99, down from $19.99), and The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt ($24.99, down from $49.99). All of these games have been critically acclaimed or positively reviewed, and promise a large amount of entertainment, especially Wild Hunt and Dragon Age, both open-world games with a lot of things to do.
If none of those games tickle your fancy, you can lose a few hours in the mindless fun of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, which is $7.79, down from $19.99. While it doesn’t have a story, its mindless hack-and-slash, hammy gameplay is definitely something that you could play with your friends.
Or you could pick up the seizure-inducing Geometry Wars 3, which is $4.94, down from $14.99. Or, you could pick up Borderlands: the Handsome Collection for $23.99, and gives you two games for the price of one!
If you’re looking for an artfully-designed adventure, you could pick up Transistor (developed by the creators of Bastion) for $4.99, or Dust: An Elysian Tale for 3.74. You could even do away with any seriousness and instead pick up Megadimension Neptunia for 14.99, down from 49.99.
Or, if you’re looking for a bit of nostalgia for a long-lost game series, you can try out the 2014 version of Thief for 5.99. Even if it’s not good, at least you’ll only be losing 6 dollars.
If none of the games mentioned above tickle your fancy, you can actually check out the page for the Playstation flash sale on the Playstation store, where a variety of games for all of Playstation’s currently supported consoles have deals going on.
