NetherRealm Revealed Harley Quinn And Deadshot For Injustice 2
Gamescom has kicked off and of course major game developers and publishers are there to show off their new games. So Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios has announced two new playable Injustice 2 characters.
The announcement comes with a new trailer which reveals that the new Injustice 2 characters are Harley Quinn and Deadshot.
In related news, Creative Director for Injustice 2, ED Boon, posted a poll, which asked fans to vote for the character they want to see in the game. The poll included three names: Constantine, Starfire and Black Manta.
However, the result is quite surprising as the winner is Starfire, considering Constantine and Black Manta are more popular compared to Star Fire.
Starfire got 43 percent votes in the poll while behind her is Constantine with 32 percent votes. While Black Manta managed to secure only 25 percent of votes.
However, that is not the only poll Ed Boon is conducting, as he has posted another poll and asked fans which Red hood they want to see in the game.
Which Red Hood do you think should be in Injustice 2?” with the two options: Joker and Jason Todd.
Joker was playable in the first Injustice game, Jason Todd’s Red Hood was not. So it seems that players might favor Jason Todd over Joker.
Other characters that are confirmed to show up in Injustice 2 are Zoom, Wonder Woman, Blue Beetle, Superman, Super Girl, Batman, Zoom and many more.
The Injustice 2 might feature close to 30 different fighters, which will be the biggest character roster to be featured in any DC game. All the characters will have alternative outfits, however, some characters will have outfits that will unlock new sets of abilities.
Recently Ed Boon revealed Suicide Squad members may show up in DLC. He also teased that Beast Boy might also make its way in the game’s roster.
Injustice 2 is in development at NetherRealm Studio and is scheduled to release in 2017 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
