Battlefield is one of the most popular and profitable franchise for Electronic Arts. However, the company does not expect Battlefield 1 will sell as many copies as the previous entries.

According to chief financial officer, Blake Jorgensen, Battlefield 1 sales expectations are slightly under compared to what the franchise usually have in a year. But the company is still hopeful that the sales figures for Battlefield 1 will rise eventually.

On the other hand the company expects Titanfall 2 to perform rather well. The company expects that Titanfall 2 will sell 9 million to 10 million units.

Battlefield 1 is a first person shooter set during World War 1 and the game is scheduled to release on October 21 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
