Mudsdale
Mudsdale is the evolved form of Mudray and is a Ground-type Pokémon. Mudscale has two unique abilities – Own Tempo or Stamina. Own Tempo prevents the Pokémon from being afflicted by confusion, even if it is self-inflicted. Meanwhile, When a Pokémon with Stamina ability is hit by an attack, its Defense raises by one stage.

It is said that its one kick can destroy a car. It may not be the fastest Pokemon but its power and Stamina are exceptional.

Lurantis
Lurantis is a Grass-type Pokémon that evolves from Fomantis. Lurantis is an insectoid Pokémon with a Guard Leaf ability. When the sun is up, Guard Leaf ability prevents the Pokémon from being afflicted by non-volatile status conditions and Yawn.

It can master an ability called the “Solar Blade,” where it can harness the power of the sun to unleash powerful attacks.

New Alola Forms

Alola region has taken effect on some of our Pokemon sp they have changed shape. These new forms are called Alola forms. Currently, we know of 4 Pokemon that have taken a new Alola form.

Alolan Sandshrew
Sandshrew has historically lived in desert area but this one disruption in volcanos have forced them to move to Alola’s Snowy regions. Alolan Sandshrew was announced recently and is a ice/steel type Pokemon. Their bodies changed to adapt the new environment.

A massive shell of ice covers its skin which allows it to be very defensive. However, the ice shell affects its mobility and flexibility. This means that Alolan Sandshrew is much slower compared to a normal Sandshrew.

Its evolution is known as Alolan Sandslash which is also a mouse based Pokemon with Ice and Steel shell body. Alolan Sandslash comes with sharp icy spines on its back and they are able to hide on the snow using Snow Cloak ability.

Alolan Vulpix
An Ice type Pokemon that is based on a Fox. It is believed that the Vulpix came to Alola with Humans and they moved to the snowy mountains to avoid other Pokemon. Thus, they took this new form. They live in packs of two to five and also come with the Snow Cloak ability.

Alolan Vulpix evolution is known as Alolan Ninetales that can produce crystals from its fur. It is known to help humans but shows no mercy to those who seem like a threat. These ice crystals can be fired like bullets.

Alolan Exeggutor
Alolan Exeggutor is a Grass/Dragon-type Pokemon that is based on Coconut tree. It comes with a Frisk ability allows it to see its opponent’s held item. Exeggutor’s form changed due to Alola region’s sunlight which pours down all year.

Unlike other Exeggutor, the Alolan Exeggutor has a fourth head—on its tail. The tail takes care of enemies that may attack from behind. It uses its long neck to slash enemies.

Alolan Meowth
Meowth did not originally lived in this region but they are sent as an offering from another region and only a few can have them as partners.

“It’s said that the Meowth that were offered to the royal family lived a life of luxury and pampering, which led them to have a selfish and prideful attitude. This caused Meowth’s form to change.

The once-rare Alolan Meowth became feral when the monarchy was destroyed, and they have now become regular Pokémon, seen as commonly in the Alola region as elsewhere.”

Alolan Marowak
Alolan Morowak is a Fire/Ghost-type based on bone keeper Pokemon. It uses a bone that lights up on fire as soon as it rubs it on its forehead. Grass type Pokemon are Marowak’s natural enemies. This makes Alola a not so safe environment for Cubone and Marowak. As a result, they keep close to their partners.

This closeness to partners allowed them to develop a sixth sense that changed their form.

Alolan Raichu
Alolan Raichu is a Electric/Psychic-type based on a Mouse Pokemon. They are able to gather their psychic power it their tails and ride the tail to flout. Even Pokémon researchers don’t know why Raichu’s form changed in the Alola region. Well, maybe it ate too many sweet and fluffy round pancakes.

Pokemon Sun and Moon is releasing on November 18, 2016. You can also get a Limited Edition Pokemon Sun and Moon 3DS Bundle if you are looking for a new 3DS.
