Destiny: Rise of Iron to Include Ointment Shader and the Ability to Choose Faction Rewards
It looks like the Ointment Shader will be included in Destiny’s final expansion Destiny: Rise of Iron.
Destiny: Rise of Iron is going to be the game’s final expansion before the developers divert their focus on the game’s sequel. However, it looks like Bungie wants to fulfill fan demands with the upcoming expansion.
Ointment Shader in Destiny: Rise of Iron
The Ointment Shader is something that fans have asked for over a year. According to a Reddit user Venomborn, the Ointment Shader will finally be in the game after two years based on this tweet:

This is not all! We recently reported that with the upcoming Destiny: Rise of Iron expansion, Bungie will allow players to gain full control over their faction rewards. This was confirmed by Bungie Game Director Chris Barrett who posted an image on his Twitter with the caption reading:
Wouldn’t it be cool if you could pick whether you wanted armor or weapons from Faction packages? #RiseofIron.
In relevant Destiny news, Bungie has revealed new information regarding the new Destiny Arena Mode called Archon’s Forge. From details, it looks like Archon’s Forge will be similar to the Prison of Elders in House of Wolves and the Court of Oryx in The Taken King. To read up more, head over to the post!
Destiny: Rise of Iron is scheduled to arrive on Sept. 20, 2016 for Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
