No Man’s Sky Trading allows you to rack up huge amount of in-game Units for all your needs including exploration, combat, etc. As you progress through the game, you will need the most expensive of equipment to stay relevant which is where No Man’s Sky Trading comes in.
Luckily, Units are fairly easy to come by in the game provided that you know what you are doing!
No Man’s Sky Trading Guide
Our No Man’s Sky Trading Guide details everything you need to know about in-game trading and fulfill all your monetarily needs using simple in-game mechanics.
No Man’s Sky Trading Tips – Mine
During the early game, you need to heavily focus on mining. If you have No Man’s Sky Warp Drive, continue to visit different planets, scan POIs, and start mining everything out! At the start of the game, you need to focus on mining Gold, Titanium, Emeril, Oxides, Silicates, and other precious materials.
Once you have acquired them, you need to trade them at high prices. You should, however, never prioritize artifacts over minerals. There are chances that you will be able to sell a few of these artifacts for as much as 25,000 Units a piece – you should not rely on it for all your needs.
Always remember that No Man’s Sky minerals are more in demand as compared to some random artifacts.
No Man’s Sky Trading Tips – Salvage but Not Everything
Inventory Management is of paramount importance in No Man’s Sky. Due to this fact, you should never try to go overboard with accumulating things just because you might need them later on. Unless you are solely focusing on No Man’s Sky Trading and getting in-game Units, you can always get resources – even the rare ones – anytime during the game.
No Man’s Sky Trading Tips – How to Trade
You will find Galactic Market Terminals in all Space Stations, bases, and near save points. Interacting with them will open up a menu using which you will be able to buy/sell items. One important thing to note here is that Market Terminals outside allow you trade everything in your exosuit and the ones inside Space Stations allow you to trade everything both in your exosuit and starship.
Apart from Galactic Market Terminals, you can also carry out direct trades with other starships. It is a good idea to head over to No Man’s Sky Space Stations where you will come across a number of starships. Interact with one and you will be presented with options of buying, selling, and trading.
Another important thing to note here is that there is no way of trading your crafted technology upgrades for starships, exosuit, and multi-tool. Trading is restricted to things like artifacts, fuel cells, minerals, etc.
While carrying out No Man’s Sky Trading, you should focus on selling items which are above the Galactic Market Terminals average and cling to the others. Stick to mining as it works better as compared to buying something at 10% less and then selling it at 10% more. While this may work in future, it is not a viable method as of now.
