First Players Get FIFA 17 Beta Invitations, Did You Get One?
The first crop of players have been invited to the FIFA 17 beta, which begins this month on the Xbox One and the Playstation 4. The beta will be the only time that players can get their hands on FIFA 17 before it comes out on September 27, next month.
The best way to enter the beta yourself would be to be both an avid FIFA player, and also a member of the EA Insider program, which gives you all sorts of goodies. If you’re also a player of Battlefield, you can also use the EA Insider program to get into the first beta for Battlefield 1 early before it releases in October.
In order to even be considered for the FIFA 17 beta, you need to go to the official EA page and submit an application for yourself. If you’re fortunate enough to be chosen, you’ll be getting an email from EA about it. If you’re accepted into the beta, you’ll be given a random game mode (whether FIFA: Ultimate Team, Career Mode, or Pro Clubs) to go into and play until the beta is over.
However, if you’re not selected for the beta you always have the opportunity to come to Gamescom in Germany and try to play it there.
Of course, that’s easier said than done for people that don’t live in Europe, which is the main market for not only FIFA games but a lot of soccer games like it. But if you can’t get there either, the game’s official demo is supposed to come out sometime in September.
If you’re selected for the FIFA 17 beta, you’ll actually have a responsibility; considering that betas are put out to stress-test and for players to find bugs the programmers have missed, you’ll be helping to make the game as good as it can be.
