Mortal Kombat X creator Ed Boon has teased Mortal Kombat XL with GGPO for PC.

Boon recently conducted a Twitter Poll over the weekend, asking fans what they would like to see in the game – Mortal Kombat XL with GGPO on PC, ESL Tournament Season 4, or changes to fighters.

After 10,160 votes, it became clear that fans of the franchise wanted Mortal Kombat XL with a lag-free online experience and some character buffs:

Over 10,000 of you voted. Looks like you guys really want a PC MKXL and some character love/buffs! We hear ya!

For those of you who do not know, GGPO or Good Game Peace Out is a middleware designed to provide online players as lag-free experience as possible.

This is not the first time Boon has teased GGPO as evident from his Tweet attached below. Needless to say, fans have been waiting for GGPO to arrive on PC along with Mortal Kombat XL:

Mortal Kombat X is now available on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. Mortal Kombat XL edition, however, is currently only available on consoles.
