Rainbow Six Siege Favela Map Revealed, Makes You Nostalgic for Modern Warfare 2
With Operation Skull Rain expansion just a week away from the release, Ubisoft has revealed Rainbow Six Siege Favela Map. The map is one of the notable aspects of the new update.
Ubisoft has released a small trailer for the reveal of Rainbow Six Siege Favela Map.
However, the trailer only gives us a glimpse of the map. Judging from the footage, it seems that Rainbow Six Siege Favela Map will encourage players to fight in the open unlike other maps in the game.
The Favela Map also seems to have a lot of tight corridors, which ensures that there will be fierce firefights from kitchens to television lounges etc. Players will also be able to take each other on through roofs.
Looking at the map, you may be nostalgic for Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 as it featured similar map. But the similarity is not that surprising as both maps are based on the same city.
According to Ubisoft, Rainbow Six Siege Favela Map is the most destructible map to date. Once the expansion is released, we will surely put its destructibility to test.
Rainbow Six Siege’s next expansion Operation Skull Rain adds two new operators to the game along with this new map. The new operators, Caveira and Capitão, come from Brazil’s Batalhão de Operações Policiais Especiais, or BOPE.
Capitão is a male offensive character, and equips all kinds of offensive weaponry. While Caveira is a female defensive character. She can sneak up on enemies without being detected and interrogates them.
Rainbow Six Siege Favela Map will be free for every player while the operators will be exclusive to the season pass holders for one week. After that they will be available for purchase via in-game currency.
Rainbow Six Siege Skull Pain update is scheduled to release on August 2 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
