Monster Hunter Generations Prowler Mode – How to Get Started!
One of the coolest new additions in Monster Hunter Generations is Monster Hunter Generations Prowler Mode.
For the first time in history of Monster Hunter games, the Prowler Mode lets you play as a Palico/Felyne. This is a perfect game mode for players who are looking forward to taking a break from traditional gameplay experience and try out something different.
Monster Hunter Generations Prowler Mode Guide
Monster Hunter Generations Prowler Mode guide details everything you need to know about getting started with the newly introduced Prowler Mode in Monster Hunter Generations.
How to Get a Palico
In order to get your hands on a Palico, you need to head over to the Palico Ranch in Bherna and speak with the Meowstress. Once done, you will be rewarded with a Palico whom you will be able to take on hunts or play as them in case of Prowler Mode.
Do note that during the course of the game, you will be able to hire x2 Palicoes in order to explore and hunt in Jurassic Frontier, Deserted Island, and Arctic Ridge.
The Meowstress will first reward you with a charisma-focused Palico, however, you are free to explore other classes as well! Whether you are a newcomer or a veteran at the game, it is highly recommended that you try out a healing-focused Felyne.
How to Start Prowler Mode
Now that we know how to get our hands on Palicoes in the game, let us get started with the Prowler Mode. In order to do so, you once again need to head over to Palico Ranch and proceed towards the Palico Board. Once there, you will see the option of switching from Hunter to Palico.
After you are done with the hiring procedure, select your favorite quest from a list and get started!
Of course, any time during Monster Hunter Generations Prowler Mode, you will be able to revert back to playing as a Hunter. However, after doing so, do make sure to reselect your Palico as a support since a Palico cannot be a support and a Prowler at the same time.
