Rise of the Tomb Raider Graphics Comparison: PS4 vs PC vs Xbox One

Rise of the Tomb Raider released on Xbox One and Xbox 360 last year. The title made its way to PC in early 2016 and it now coming to PS4 this Fall.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is one of the best looking games on PC. Meanwhile, on Xbox One it often dropped below 30 FPS and used 1440px1080 resolution during cut-scenes. Now that the game is releasing on PlayStation 4, it would be nice to do a graphics comparison.

IGN posted a video showing all three versions side by side. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version look almost identical with minor difference in textures. Check out the video above.

Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 is going to run at 1080p 30FPS, according to Square Enix. Tomb Raider will release on October 11 on PlayStation 4. There is 20th anniversary edition planned for as well.

All of the previously released DLC is added to the 20th anniversary edition of Tomb Raider. The game will now have PlayStation VR and a new zombies mode. Square Enix is adding a new co-op survival mode that will also be available on Xbox One and PC.

The mode is a fresh take on the original Survival mode from Rise of the Tomb Raider. Head over here to see 20 minutes of game from co-op survival mode.

Square Enix recently announced the 20th anniversary edition and revealed its boxart. Little after its reveal, Neil Druckmann from Naughty Dog shared a very interesting tweet. It compared Tomb Raider boxart with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection to show how similar they are.
