Pokemon Go Potions are consumable items that you need constant supply of in order to be successful at the game and increase your effectiveness in battle.

Pokemon Go Potions are acquired from PokeStops, but you need to unlock them first! Potions in Pokemon Go essentially replenish an injured Pokemon’s HP.

The amount of HP restored using a Pokemon Go Potion depends upon the type of potion used. Entry level potions replenish about 20 points of HP and then there are some potions that restore an injured Pokemon’s HP completely.

The technique is to use them at the right time which can prevent your Pokemon from fainting. For instance, Max Potion which replenishes an injured Pokemon’s HP completely, it should be used at the very last moment.

This potion is unlocked at Trainer Level 5 and replenishes an injured Pokemon’s HP by 20 points.

Pokemon Go Super Potion
This potion is unlocked at Trainer Level 10 and replenishes an injured Pokemon’s HP by 50 points.

Pokemon Go Hyper Potion
This potion is unlocked at Trainer Level 15 and replenishes an injured Pokemon’s HP by whooping 200 points. This potion is extremely potent in Gym Battles and should only be used whenever your Pokemon is about to faint.

Pokemon Go Max Potion
This potion is unlocked at Trainer Level 25 and replenishes an injured Pokemon’s HP completely. It does not matter how low or high your Pokemon’s HP is; Max Potion will replenish it completely. Due to this fact, it is a good idea to use it at the last possible moment in order to get most out of it.
