Next Hearthstone Adventure Likely To Be Announced Next Week
Hearthstone is probably one of the most popular card game in the industry, and its been almost three months since Blizzard Entertainment released Hearthstone Whispers of the Old Gods, which was the card game’s first major expansion for 2016. Since then its been quite on the announcements by Blizzard, however, things are about to change as next Hearthstone adventure will be revealed next week.
Polygon received an e-mail from Blizzard, which invited the site to tune into a stream on the official Hearthstone twitch channel on Thursday July 28 at 11:00 p.m. PT.
The invite reads as “We would be honored if you would join us for a once-in-a-lifetime event that will be full of magic and celebration,” reads the invite. “We also have something very special in store for you!”. The site also mentions that the invite goes on to mention an “unforgettable adventure”, which the website speculates is a hint towards next Hearthstone adventure announcement.
Blizzard has previously announced that it would release two major expansions for Hearthstone, one in the beginning on the year , and one at the end of the year. According to Blizzard a third adventure would release in the middle of the year, and if Blizzard announces it in coming week it would fit right with their plan.
It seems that announcement for the next Hearthstone Adventure will take place at ChinaJoy gaming convention which will take place in Shanghai on July 28. Checkout the invite below.
In related news, earlier this year Activision announced that it has changed the formula to make stronger monetization with Hearthstone Whispers Of The Old Gods.
With the release of Hearthstone: Whispers of the Old Gods, Activision announced that it will not allow players to use their old cards in the new expansion.
Hearthstone is a collectible card game developed by Blizzard Entertainment for Android, iOS, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS.
