Tekken 7 Fated Retribution Brings Bob Back, Introduces Master Raven
Tekken 7 Fated Retribution director, Katsuhiro Harada, has announced two new characters that will be appearing in the game at Evo 2016. The newly revealed Tekken 7 characters are Bob and a new character named Master Raven.
The freestyle Karate user Bob is a returning character, who first appeared in Tekken 6, he later appeared in Bloodline Retribution, Tekken 3D Prime, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Street Fighter X Tekken. A new trailer for showcasing Bob’s ability to beat his opponents has also been released, and this time he opted for ripped Hawaiian shirt and jeans. Nevertheless he is a well rounded fighter, and you can check him out in the trailer below.
Master Raven is a new character appearing for the first time in the franchise, however, Tekken series already has a character named Raven. It is not clear nor the director specified any relation between the two characters. The similarities between the two characters are apparent, but Raven is not confirmed for Tekken 7 Fated Retribution. Checkout Master Raven’s moves in the gameplay trailer below.
Recently, Harada announced that swimsuit costumes for Tekken 7 Fated retribution characters will not be available and claims that US SJWs(Social Justice Warriors) are the reason behind this decision.
However, it confusing given that Harado recently said that swimsuit costumes for Tekken 7 characters will arrive as paid DLC. It is not surprising that swimsuit costumes will be available through paid DLC as, swimsuit costumes in Tekken Tag Tournament II were a part of paid DLC.
Also Harada recently gave some insight to revamped mechanics, crafting, and even micro-transactions. He explained the reason behind changing Tekken 7’s combat mechanics, because there is a new attack to extend combos and is generally referred to as ‘Tailspin’.
Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is a fighting game developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and will release in early 2017.
