Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Pachinko Machine Trailer Disrespects the Legacy of Metal Gear
Konami has released a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater pachinko machine. For Metal Gear fans the footage is nothing but a slap in the face from Konami.
Konami is outright disgracing the legacy of Metal Gear Solid. Big Boss is stuck inside a gambling machine!
Releasing an unfinished game (mgsv) in one think (which still turned out to be fine by the way) but turning such an amazing franchise into a Pachinko machine is disrespectful and shows the lack of interest and Knowledge Konami execs have about the gaming industry.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater released almost a decade ago. It is probably the best installment in the series. Seeing it as a Pachinko game is not only painful but makes you wish Konami sells its license to a third party.
Konami not only mistreated Metal Gear but such actions caused Hideo Kojima to leave the company. The legendary developer has now started his very own studio, Kojima Productions.
Kojima-San is working on a new game called Death Stranding. It will surely be a major hit. Meanwhile, Konami struggles to maintain a positive image among the community.
The future of Metal Gear Solid hangs in the balance and although Konami claims it would continue making MGS games, we think the company would most likely focus on spin-offs.
