Pokemon Go Downloads Cross 15 Million
Pokemon Go is all the rage right now and the entire Pokemon community is on the streets playing the game. Pokemon Go released for Android devices via Google Play Store and iOS devices via Apple App Store.
According to estimates from research firm SensorTower, Pokemon Go has crossed 15 million downloads across both devices. Pokemon Go released last week in U.S and Australia. The game is also one of the most used apps on a daily basis.
On average, an iOS player spends around 33 minutes each day playing. Meanwhile, the same user spends less time using Facebook and Snapchat.
However, Candy Crush beats Pokemon Go as its daily usage stands at over 40 minutes. Pokemon’s success makes us wonder if more Nintendo games should release on other platforms.

While the game is a major hit it’s seen a handful of unfortunate events. First, a teen girl found a dead body while playing the latest Pokemon. On the other hand, a recent report revealed that criminals are using this game to lure victims.
According to Sgt Bill Stringer:
Using the geolocation feature, the robbers were able to anticipate the location and level of seclusion of unwitting victims
