Rise of the Tomb Raider released last year on Xbox One and Xbox 360 and earlier this year on PC. Square Enix has an exclusive deal with Microsoft that allowed Xbox to enjoy 12 months of exclusively of Rise of the Tomb Raider.
We haven’t hear anything about the game for PS4, no screenshots, no gameplays, it is evident that the terms of the deal prohibits the developer and publisher to event the market Rise of the Tomb Raider on PS4.
Such nonvocal approach makes us wonder if Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 is still in development, a rumor recently claimed that Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 is cancelled.
At this point if it’s cancelled, we don’t think it would sell many copies now as the hype and excitement died a while back. Still, those who want to play the game on PS4 should rest assured that it will release on time. Rise of the Tomb Raider PS4 is still in development, according to Square Enix.
As stated previously, Rise of the Tomb Raider’s PlayStation 4 release is set for Holiday 2016.
Rise of the Tomb Raider was one of the best looking games on PC and Xbox and received decent review across the board. Its initial sales were poor but at the time Crystal Dynamics were optimistic about the future and its release on PS4.
