Mythical Pokemon Shaymin Is Up For Grabs For The Month Of July

The Pokemon Company has announced that starting from July 1-24, players who own Pokemon Omega Ruby, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Pokemon X, or Pokemon Y will be able to get their hands on the Mythical Pokemon Shaymin via Nintendo Network.

The Pokemon is being awarded to players for free as a part of franchise’s 20 years’ celebration.

Shaymin is the next Mythical Pokémon featured in the Pokémon 20th celebration! From July 1–24, be sure to get Shaymin for your Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, or Pokémon Y video game via Nintendo Network.

In addition to this, The Pokemon Company has also announced the full-length Pokemon: Giratina & the Sky Warrior on Pokemon TV – available both as mobile app and Apple TV – starring the Mythical Pokemon Shaymin and many other fascinating Pokemon.

The Mythical Pokemon Shaymin made its debut in Pokemon Diamond & Pearl and is a Grass-Type Pokemon. The Pokemon will be available in its original Land Forme, but Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire players will be able to transform it into its Grass/Flying-Type Sky Forme.

In relevant Pokemon news, following a major leak revealing a total of 7 Pokemon for the upcoming Pokemon Sun and Moon, The Pokemon Company launched an official footage showing off the 7 leaked Pokemon which include the following Pokemon:

  • Tapu Koko – Electric/Fairy Type Pokemon
  • Charjabug – Bug/Electric Type Pokemon
  • Vikavolt – Bug/Electric Type Pokemon, Basically Charjabug’s Evolution
  • Drampa – Normal/Dragon Type Pokemon
  • Bruxfish – Water/Psychic Type Pokemon
  • Cutiefly – Bug/Fairy Type Pokemon
  • Togedamaru – Electric/Steel Type Pokemon

Pokemon Sun and Moon is scheduled to release on Nov. 18, 2016 in Japan and North America and on Nov. 23, 2016 in Europe exclusively for Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo has also announced a special Nintendo 3DS XL Edition with a legendary Pokemon etched on it.
