The Witcher 3 Patch 1.23 for PS4 Fixes Bug Preventing Game Progression
The Witcher 3 patch 1.23 has finally been released on Playstation 4 by CD Projekt Red, which has finally fixed a bug in the game that was preventing progression by players. The patch is only 68 megabytes, so it shouldn’t take too long to download so that players can start playing Blood and Wine, the last DLC in the game and the final piece of Witcher media that will be in a video game for the foreseeable future.
The Witcher 3 patch 1.23 will hopefully be the last one needed by Wild Hunt, after the Blood and Wine DLC came out several weeks ago. Blood and Wine continued CD Projekt Red’s proud tradition for The Witcher 3 of getting critical acclaim, especially with its great size and huge amount of content that is sure to keep players engrossed in the game for a long time to come.
Blood and Wine will be taking Geralt to the Nilfgaardian duchy of Toussaint, where a sinister force hides behind the wine vineyards, beautiful architecture, and knightly culture.
A variety of new weapons and armor have also come with the expansion, along with a villa that Geralt can buy as the perfect cap to his journey, if you have the money for it.
If The Witcher 3 patch 1.23 is indeed the last one, then we can finally get on the road to saying our long goodbye to everyone’s favorite silver-haired monster slayer.
With the final release of Blood and Wine (and, hopefully, this patch), CD Projekt Red will hopefully be able to move on to their next upcoming project, Cyberpunk 2077, which has been on the backburner for several years due to the studio focusing on the Witcher games.
Now that The Witcher 3 and all of its DLC is done, we’ll likely be seeing at least something about Cyberpunk in the near future.
