Sony revealed the Spider-man game during its E3 press conference, which is being developed by Insomniac Games. This newly announced Spider-man game will be exclusive to PlayStation 4. Now developers have revealed some more detail about Spider-man PS4 game engine, and the team working on the game.

According to Insomniac Games, Spider-man PS4 game, which is intended to be merely a beginning of complete Marvel game franchise, focuses on quality rather than quantity. Moreover, the Spider-man PS4 game engine is the same engine used in Ratchet And Clank. However, the Spider-man PS4 game engine is technically more advanced and upgraded, as Insomniac Games themselves said that they only have one game engine.

The announcement was made by Insomniac Game’s Twitter account, where the studio revealed that they have a huge team working on the Spider-man PS4 game full time.

In another tweet when asked about Spider-man PS4 running on the same game engine as Ratchet and Clank’s, the developer responded that its the same engine as they don’t have nay other game engine.

Marvel has given complete freedom to Insomniac Games to develop Spider-man game for PlayStation 4. According to Bill Rosemann the game will be a separate experience from the movies and Insomniac is allowed to tell its own story.

Bill also explained that the changes to the Spider-man costume in the game are well thought, and is the greatest superhero costume ever created, as every change to the costume has a meaning behind it.

Vice President of Marvel Games, Jay Ong, said that Spider man is just the beginning to bring the Marvel’s comic book characters to consoles. Ong said marvel have plans for bringing its characters to games, but can’t reveal them right now.

Insomniac Games has revealed that Spider-man PS4 will not be a origin story, but will feature a experienced Spider-man.
