Bioshock: The Collection Leaked Screenshots Show Upgraded Visuals
Some screenshots showing off the improved graphics of BioShock: The Collection have been leaked onto the Internet, showing off everything that we’re going to see when the new collection releases soon.
The Bioshock collection will have all three of the BioShock games: the original, Bioshock 2, and Bioshock: Infinite, the most recent (and last).
The leak followed the announcement of an official Bioshock twitter account and the sighting (and quick removal) of a Bioshock: The Collection page on the 2K Games website. The website NeoGAF discovered the various websites on the GameSpot server, which means that we may be seeing an announcement sometime soon.
All three Bioshock games are already available on PC, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, but Bioshock: The Collection will likely be on next-gen consoles with updated graphics, so you’ll be able to experience the first time that you saw Rapture and Columbia all over again.
Whether you’ll feel the same with the various twists and turns in the stories that made the games so distinctive, however, likely remains to be seen.
All three Bioshock games were positively received (with the original game and Bioshock Infinite receiving critical acclaim) so hopefully Bioshock: The Collection will be able to sell very well, especially in the aftermath of the Batman: Return to Arkham release being postponed indefinitely.
All of the leaked screenshots for Bioshock: The Collection actually look much better than the original games, with better lighting, more detail, and better graphics all around. Of course, the graphics might not be a very good reason to re-buy the games, especially when you can get all three of the games on Steam, each one for around 7 or 8 dollars.
In the meantime, while you’re waiting for an official announcement for Bioshock: The Collection by 2K, why not take a look at the pretty leaked screenshots that we’ve included along with this article?
