The Division Underground DLC Not Working? Here’s What You Can Do
Tom Clancy’s The Division Underground DLC was released today and we have also shared with you the detailed patch notes for the expansion as well as the update. However, we have picked up reports that the DLC is not working for a number of PC and Xbox One users.
If you have been facing something similar, don’t worry, for we have (probably) got you covered.
To start with, Ubisoft has acknowledged that there is an issue due to which the downloadable content pack is not being shown as owned by some users. While this really is a bug, the developers are working to fix it.
We are aware of an issue on PC where the Underground DLC will not show as Owned despite owning the Season Pass. This is being worked on.

That being said, here are some of the solutions for some of the scenarios that we have spotted online.
People are reporting that although the Underground expansion was there before, after the Update 1.3 they are having trouble finding as well as booting the new content.
There are some people who are shown an “offline” sign next to the Underground. This is not really a bug or a problem with your installation. Actually, the new content becomes available after you have completed the Secure Quarantine Center side mission. Just look for it on the map and get to it right away.
Moving on, some Xbox One users have reported that they have been told that they don’t have The Division Underground DLC when the reach the terminal to start playing the new content. Overcoming this is very simple as well, just follow the steps below:
- Exit the game
- Go to the Main Menu
- Go to Manage Game
- Look for Tom Clancy’s The Division: Underground under the Ready to Install section
- Click it and let the license work it self (it will only take a small time)
- Start the game and you’ll be able to access the new content
Talking of PC users, there are some who are using Uplay and have reported the inability to launch the expansion, as well as some Steam users who are having the same problem.
In both of the cases, the users should try to restart the Uplay client or the Steam client respectively. When you do so, you will be asked to activate the downloadable content pack for Tom Clancy’s The Division, upon doing this, you will be able to access the Underground normally.
