For as long as there were single-player campaigns, no one got too upset. There were people really into competitive multiplayer who said, ‘I don’t know why they bother.’

But then we took the campaign and suddenly people come out the woodwork, like ‘what did you do with the campaign?!’, like some dark matter of players out there who got all vocal. It’s different audiences

It is clear from this statement that there is a majority of players out there who want a single-player experience.

Titanfall 2’s story will not be rushed just to meet the demands of the players, as gamers are interested in a proper single-player campaign, which Zampella thinks is due to the interesting game universe.

I think it has to do with the universe. We tried to put some of that into the multiplayer first time around and teased it, and people’s interest was piqued.

Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that while Titanfall 2 will run at 60 frames per second on consoles, the game will support 144 Hz on PC, suggesting how fast paced the gameplay should be.

The reason behind this decision according to the studio is that they care about PC gamers a lot and also don’t want to make bad console ports.

Titanfall 2 will release on October 28, 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
