The Division update 1.3

The Division update 1.3 has been delayed and won’t be releasing as expected. The update is delayed on PlayStation 4 but will release on time for Xbox One and PC. The Division update 1.3 is coming out on June 28, 4 days from now.

The Division update 1.3 is going to nerf special ammo among other minor changes to the game.

Incendiary ammo lasts for much shorter. The actual burn effect when you hit someone; it lasts for 30 percent of what it used to last for. For explosive ammo, the typical use case that we see a lot is the M44 with some explosive ammo; you’d do like 25,000 damage and then an explosion for 100,000. No longer the case.

So now the explosion will always be for the exact damage that the bullet was–so they always scale 1:1. It’s scaled a little bit differently depending on your build and some other factors.

The effectiveness of Incendiary and explosive ammo has been reduced around 75 percent which is a significant downgrade.

The Division update 1.3 on PlayStation 4 will release once devs finalize the details. However, commenting on the ongoing rumor they clarified that it isn’t delayed to August 2.

The Division is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. We’ll let you know as soon as the update is available.
