By   /   Jun 24, 2016

It hasn’t been long since the new Berserk game got officially announced by Koei Tecmo, and they are already teasing us with some clips as well as screenshots. The developers have released a new Berserk gameplay clip, which is essentially a tease, but shows the dark and gritty world.

However, we already had a feeling that this game was going to happen exactly one year before now. Back then, Kenji Saito, the director for Metal Gear Rising Revengeance had shown an interest in making a Berserk or a Kill La Kill game.

Although the game that got announced now is being developed by Omega Force, famed for Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, One Piece: Pirate Warriors, Hyrule Warriors, Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below, and more.

We have also been told that the Black Swordsman starrer is going to stay in line with the Dynasty Warriors theme and take you back to the same style of gameplay. This has been reiterated by the short Berserk gameplay clip that we have embedded above.

After you are done with the dark trailer above, you can also check out some previously unseen screenshots of the game below.

These screenshots have been shared by Koei Tecmo with Japanese magazine Famitsu, and they confirm at least one thing that was not officially confirmed by Omega Force so far, that there will be more than one playable characters in the game.

As you can see, the image show not only Guts but also Griffith taking on hordes of enemies and slashing through them like bananas.

Koei Tecmo has announced that they are going to release the new Berserk Musou game in Septembeer for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
