It has been a while since we heard anything new regarding Final Fantasy 7 remake. Such situations make us wonder if something has gone wrong, however, rest assured that isn’t the case with Final Fantasy 7.

According to Tetsuya Nomura, Final Fantasy 7 remake development is going smoothly and news will be shared soon. Square Enix is finalizing the specifics of the next news release, so expect more information soon.

I know I haven’t given any information in a while, but please rest assured that work is moving forward steadily. We are currently getting specifics ready for the next information release, and just like we’ve done with KH2.8 this time, we plan to bring a whole lot out in one go instead of dribs and drabs, so please look forward to it. Last we heard of Final Fantasy 7 remake was when Square Enix assured the community that the game will release in the financial year ending March 2017. Meanwhile, in terms of news related to in-game features we haven’t heard anything for a while.

Final Fantasy 7 remake is an episodic game and each episode can be around 30 hours long. There are three episodes to that adds up to 90 hours of gameplay.

Final Fantasy 7 remake will release on PlayStation 4 first before hitting other platforms.
