Playstation Network Maintenance Is Coming Wednesday
Playstation Network maintenance will be coming this Wednesday, June 22, while Sony goes through routine maintenance and and improvements on the system. Playstation Network will be down for around two hours will they work on the network.
During the Playstation Network maintenance you’ll be able to still play games, sign into your profile, and use most of the available applications. However, you won’t be able to watch videos, use Account Management, or use the Playstation Store during the maintenance period.
IF you’re one of those people that would want to play Playstation games during that time, all you have to do is go to your Settings, then to Account Management, and activate the Playstation 4 you’re playing as your primary console. That way you’ll be able to play it even when the maintenance is going on.
Thankfully, Playstation and Sony are always working on making sure that the gaps between playtime that can be caused by server maintenance are lasting less and less time, though they seem to have plateaued for now at two hours each time.
Thankfully two hours isn’t that long of a time, and you can still play games (though we don’t know if you’ll be able to play games online with other people in the meantime.)
Another thing you can look forward to, however, is that it’s likely that there will be a new flash sale this Friday, so if you’re looking for the possibility of a deal on your favorite game you should be on the lookout, or quickly get on the Playstation store today. That way, you can take advantage of the Best of E3 sale going on right now.
The sale includes various games that have been announced by Sony at past E3s, and some games that haven’t been released for very long like Just Cause 3 and Rainbow Six: Siege.
