Death Stranding Behind-the-Scenes Photos Show Norman Reedus in MoCap Session
Originally announced during Sony’s E3 2016 media briefing, Death Stranding is Hideo Kojima’s next project being developed for Playstation 4 and Microsoft Windows.
Death Stranding teaser trailer that we saw at the show floor revealed little of what the game is about, although we do know it stars Norman Reedus. Now have some behind-the-scenes pictures of the actor during the motion capture sessions.
There is not much that we know about the game – there are a ton of speculations and analysis circulating – but Kojima has explained that the phrase Dead Standing essentially refers to whales/dolphins stranded on beaches or people stranded on islands.
In addition to this, Kojima has also confirmed that the studio did not reveal setting and the protagonist’s name on purpose so as to keep them a secret. However, the game features a lot of action gameplay elements and players will instantly notice it as something different from anything they have ever experienced before.
Coming to the game’s release date, Death Stranding is far from it since Kojima has not even decided upon a game engine as of now, though, he does have a few options in mind.
