Dishonored 2 Footage Hides a Very Familiar Character
Dishonored trailer is hiding a very familiar looking character that you may have missed during E3 2016 showcase. Dishonored 2 footage gave us a brief look at Delilah Copperspoon.
This isn’t just speculation, developer Arkane has confirmed that this character is indeed Delilah Copperspoon.
Delilah Copperspoon was a major part of the original Dishonored DLCs. She was in The Knife of Dunwall and is the lead antagonist is Brigmore Witches.
Brigmore Witches is a very powerful witch coven led by Delilah Copperspoon. Emily Kaldwin is a playable character in the game and Copperspoon will have an important role to play in her story. One of her quotes from Dishonored:
The girl Emily Kaldwin will have the mind of Delilah the First, who did not inherit everything she got, but came to power through the force of her own genius.
Brigmore Witches was the final DLC for Dishonored in which Copperspoon tried to extract Emily Kaldwin’s brain and posses her body in order to rule the Empire in her place. In the middle of her ritual she was interested by Duad.
Players had two options, either kill her or trap her in a void inside a painting that is being used in her ritual. It looks like Dishonored 2 goes with the later.
Dishonored 2 gameplay features both Emily Kaldwin and Corvo as playable. Each will have its own quest and motive to move forward in Dishonored universe.
Dishonored 2 Footage from E3 2016 was pretty interesting and certainly raised the hype level. The game will release on November 11 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. No last-gen versions are being developed for Dishonored 2.
