Red Dead Redemption 2 Was Not Pulled From Sony’s Press Event
Red Dead Redemption 2 is presumably under development at Rockstar as we speak. Many leaks and rumors have popped up in the internet over the past few months but nothing official. Fans were hoping to see the next Red Dead game at E3 2016 during Sony press conference but that didn’t happen, did it?
Just hours before Sony’s press event, confirmation of the company revealing Red Dead Redemption 2 was posted by an insider on reddit. On top of that, we heard similar word on the showfloor and were excited for its apparent reveal.
But it never happened! Did Sony pull the game from its conference? Rumors started to fly that Sony has indeed pulled the game from its conference but the sources of such rumors fail to understand that these decisions are made months before E3. Content goes on complete lockdown.
Adam Boyes debunked this rumor on Twitter by saying the same thing.
@RyanDungey_ no, this is not true. The length and content we showed has been locked and unchanged for months.

Not seeing Red Dead was a disappointment but GamesCom might bring news. Overall Sony’s event was pretty decent, we got to see the hotly anticipated God of War 4, a new IP called Days Gone, Batman Arkham VR, Resident Evil 7 with VR support and much more.
Rockstar’s Agent was also missing from the show and that has been the case for the better part of a decade. We would love to see Agent and Red Dead Redemption hitting storefronts worldwide soon.
