Resident Evil 7 Biohazard Brings The Horrors to PlayStation VR in January 2017
Although we previously talked about things that we want and do not want with it, none of those included Resident Evil 7 Biohazard being a PlayStation VR title. However, it looks like Sony has come with a bagful of virtual reality titles and this was just the first one confirmed today.
So yes, RE7 is happening, and it is a VR-based game.
We got out first look at the title only moments ago and it does look interesting. However, we are not sure if every one among the Resident Evil community is going to resonate with the need for this to go VR.
Any how, Capcom is developing the title with all the key elements you would expect to have in a Resident Evil title. The video starts with a singular character in a room where a phone rings to inform him that “they will kill you if you don’t get out of there.”
Naturally, this leads to frantic movements all over the place as the character tries hard to get out of this house of horrors. We can’t wait to experience all this in the PlayStation VR.
An E3 2016 reveal of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard was previously hinted at about five days ago, and before that it was rumored that the game will return to its horror roots – it looks like capcom is staying true to this one.
The game is going to be playable in its full length with the PlayStation VR when it releases on PlayStation 4 on January 24, 2017.
We will be covering the game in depth, not only because virtual reality sounds like an interesting thing to do with horror titles, but also because we have really been waiting to return to the franchise with Resident Evil 7 Biohazard!
