New Scalebound Demo Shown at E3 2016 With 4 Player Co-Op, Here’s What We Noticed
Scalebound was present at Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference and we can’t wait to get our hands on it after what we just saw. The title is delayed to 2017 but it would definitely be worth the wait.
The demo shown at E3 revealed 4 player co-op gameplay featuring the biggest boss fight ever created by the developing studio. Players are able to take control of dragons that are able to spit out fireballs.
In case dragons fail to do the job, then it is time to get down and dirty. Players have access to exploding arrows that can do significant damage to the enemy, especially, when the arrows are aimed at the enemy’s weak points.
The lead character is able to use different special abilities including the one that allows him to pump out Iron Man like attacks, and another once that transform him to a more powerful being for a short period of time.
Graphically, the game looks pretty decent with its high quality textures, great particle effects. However, water effects can use some improvements.
We also noticed that the lead character uses a very basic wooden shield but we assume he would be able to customize his gear and armor.
Scalebound is coming to Windows 10 and Xbox One next year. Keep in mind that Microsoft has announced a pay once play across all platforms policy. This means that Scalebound buyers of Xbox One will get a free copy of the game on Windows 10. Same is the case for Windows 10 users, they will get a free copy of the game on Xbox One.
The first game to be released under this policy is Gears of War 4. Yes, the long rumored Gears of War 4 PC version is now confirmed.
