Bethesda Announces Quake Champions – A Fast Skill-Based Arena-Style Shooter

During Bethesda’s E3 2016 media briefing, the studio announced the latest iteration of its FPS-defining game, Quake called Quake Champions.

Quake Champions is a fast skill-based arena-style shooter that runs at 120 Hz with unlocked frame rates. Bethesda has announced that the game will exclusively launch for PC and more information will be shared in coming months.

The game will feature a wide variety of heroes, each of whom will have his/her own set of abilities and skills. This will ensure that the game supports a range of playstyles. Bethesda also released the game’s first reveal trailer during the media briefing that you can check attached above!

The fast, skill-based arena-style competition that turned the original Quake games into multiplayer legends is making a triumphant return with Quake Champions. Running at an impressive 120hz with unlocked framerates, id Software’s new multiplayer shooter is getting ready to take PC gaming by storm once more. Currently, there is no concrete release date or more information related to the game, but Bethesda has promised more details in coming months – probably during QuakeCon.
